Prof.
Sunil Khilnani born in New Delhi received his BA from
Trinity Hall, Cambridge (1983) and Ph.D from King's
College, Cambridge (1989). He was elected a Fellow, Christ’s
College, Cambridge, in 1987. Prof Khilnani began his
academic career at Birkbeck (1989 - 2002), University of
London. He was appointed as a Lecturer and went on to
become a Senior Lecturer (1994-98), Reader (1998-2000) and then Professor of
Politics (2000-02).
Prof.
Khilnani is currently director of South Asian Studies at
the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns
Hopkins University in Washington DC. He has also been a
Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge; was a Visiting
Professor at Seikei University, Tokyo; has held a
Leverhulme Fellowship (1998-2000); and was a Fellow at
the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington DC.
He is the
